Flows of information are being passed down. We are talking about the collective unconscious, could it be that the body remembers what the body before had undergone?


An inside/out upside down view, as investigated by George Bataille observes how wounds and ruptures create sudden spaces, allowing us to identify an activity of spontaneous reciprocity. This space, in essence an opening of the body through erotics and sensuality, provokes both tenderness and violence. These tactile territories interrupt skins; they disrupt and invite a transgression in navigational flows generated through touch.

Evangelia Dimitrakopoulou (b. Athens, Greece) is a sculptor and multimedia artist based between London and Athens She holds a Masters from Athens School of Fine Arts (2018) and a Masters in Fine Arts from Goldsmiths University of London (2020). She is the recipient of the ACME Award for Early Career Artists (2020). Her work comprises of installations with sculptural, olfactory and sonic ingredients, that reach towards the idea of Otherness, disassociation, and care.
